Investment Interns (PV)

Bogotá D.C, Colombia

We are looking for a Rockstar Intern to work with us in challenging projects

Polymath Ventures is looking for a rockstar intern to work in a challenging project for the investment team. Our interns are Latam’s top young entrepreneurial talent who join us to be part of challenging projects to keep building and scaling our ventures. They are young leaders with grit and analytical horse power who are eager to learn more about how to build amazing companies while working with the best talent from around the world.

Why build with us?

Polymath has grown tremendously over the last 5 years of operation, with 6 ventures launched (8 by years end) and over 300 amazing staff across the portfolio. With Polymath’s expansion from Colombia into new markets, including Mexico and China, we need exceptional, senior individuals that will allow Polymath to grow to the next level.

We have established ourselves as one of the world’s top company builders. We are currently closing a substantial investment vehicle (of game-changing size) to support the growth our ventures, bringing us to a new era for Polymath. We could not be more excited about the next stages of our growth. To make it happen, we need experienced and successful entrepreneurs that know not just how to invest, but how to build. We need brilliant minds and executors to build the next game-changing ventures in emerging markets, globally.

  • Build the first highly successful, global company builder focused on emerging markets
  • Join one of the most talented and diverse teams in Latin America
  • Build ventures that impact customers' lives and provide quality jobs
  • See the direct results of every ounce of sweat (and tears)
  • Stop thinking about starting something... actually, do it!

What will your role be?

With five existing ventures, a number of new ones to be launched in the coming years and in the midst of raising a $100M fund, Polymath engages in extensive fundraising activity. We raise funds from a wide variety of investors, including angel investors, Family Offices, HNWIs, DFIs, VCs, and PE funds locally and internationally. This will be a very interesting and valuable role for anyone interested in working in VC or entrepreneurship, with unique exposure to both the fundraising and investment processes and the opportunity to work with highly qualified industry experts in a project with no equivalent in the VC industry.

As a company builder involved at every stage of venture investment, from pre-seed to exit, Polymath plays a key role in venture investment. Rounds include not only financing for the portfolio companies, but also fundraising for Polymath investment vehicles. Exposure to external investments will also be gained.

Specific responsibilities will include:
