About the position

We are looking for a person to build our Strategy & Operations - Talent Acquisition division in Bogotá, Colombia. In general, we are looking for an unique blend of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, analytical horsepower and a strong can-do attitude. You will work directly with senior Aflore staff to understand current and future talent acquisition needs and design, build and execute innovative experiments and strategies to attract and engage top international talent. This is a central division with high-exposure to all business areas within Aflore, and is absolutely crucial for Aflore’s ambitious growth plans. 

Once here, you will

  • Fully own the hiring strategy and execution for strategic positions - defining, designing and implementing agile recruitment initiatives to ensure hiring targets are met
  • Develop the strategic plan to attract candidates from different recruitment sources, to guarantee a healthy flow of candidates, always updated and on track to exceed the growth objectives of our company.
  • Manage end-to-end candidate experience (from first contact to hiring) - Fostering trust-based relationships with them and gaining a close understanding of their value, requirements and concerns
  • Promote our organizational culture and our values through the implementation of OnBoarding plans and programs.
  • Collaborate with leaders in all areas to understand current and future talent needs.
  • Create and present performance and quality of hiring pipelines to main key stakeholders and share learnings and best practices to constantly improve recruiting process with the Talent Team
  • Develop framework and metrics that facilitate rigorous evaluation of our hiring process and talent acquisition initiatives
  • Mine actionable insights from (qualitative and quantitative) talent data and develop testable hypotheses
  • Recommend and drive improvements to enhance and scale  Aflore recruiting practice

What we are looking for

On the formal side of things, you will have:

  • A Bachelor degree 
  • At least 3 years of prior experience in a high-growth startup environment, but we will consider candidates with less or a different experience if they meet other requirements 
  • Stellar stakeholder management and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Fluency in English and Spanish 
  • Demonstrated track record of building relationships with cross-functional business teams at all seniority levels
  • Calm under pressure and ability to deal with ambiguity - A high level of emotional intelligence is a big deal for us
  • High attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment; excellent time management and organizational skills are a must
  • Have a burning desire to apply data-driven solutions to tackle real-world problems related to talent
  • Curious and always trying to find new, improved solutions in everything you start
  • Ability to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner
  • Collaborative mindset, willing to share and contribute your experience and positive can-do attitude with the team and organisation

To set yourself apart, you will bring:

  • Experience working in a global market (sourcing national and international talent for various countries)
  • Proven experience finding, attracting and closing passive senior and/or tech talent in a highly dynamic environment
  • Previous experience using Greenhouse, and the willingness of experimenting with new tech tools to optimize our processes 
  • Strong Excel skills  

On top of that, we are looking for:

Location: Bogotá, Colombia (open to remote work with availability to  travel to Bogotá)
