Before joining Polymath, Shawn co-founded and was Managing Partner at August Hill, a global leader in advisory services for startups and industry operators. At August Hill, he worked with clients across various funding stages worldwide. Before that, he was a Partner at Moderne Ventures, where he helped raise and deploy capital, conducted due diligence, and managed LP partnerships, overseeing a portfolio of over 125 startups. Shawn has also held executive positions at major technology companies like DocuSign and Constellation Software. With 25 years of experience in venture capital, strategy, business development, and operations, Shawn is also active in supporting underserved founders and mentoring in several VC accelerators. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rowan University and is based in Mexico City.
